Peter & Ashley || First Glimpse || Plymouth Creek Center Wedding

I met her over the phone the summer before we became freshman roommates a number of years ago (I won’t tell you how many but quite a few!). The only thing I remember about that phone call is that she asked me if I was “goth or anything like that – not that it matters, I just want to know…”. (hahahahahaha). Ashley’s sense of humor and candor is one of a kind and I absolutely love that about her. Ashley and I stayed roommates for all four years at Bemidji State University and I’m happy to say she’s still one of my great friends.

Well, yesterday, I got to see her marry a very, very good man and it was the best to Ash on top of the world the entire day. She was a stunning bride and her groom, the most dapper of all. The entire day was just plain fun – there was a beautiful traditional Chinese tea ceremony, an actually game of ultimate frisbee (dress clothes and all!),  a serenade to the bride of a Backstreet Boys song by all the men, and Polaroids to remember the exciting moments. I have so, so much to share in a later post but for now, a few.
