He knew it was right when he asked her to marry him. They set a date and she’d waited for this day to arrive for over a year. Over that year, they’d collected wine bottles for DIY centerpieces, asked their best friends to accompany them on their day and he even bedazzled her shoes. This is why I love brides and grooms like Syndal & Peter. They are a team. They love and appreciate each other and it’s so apparent when you see them together.
They started the day with a beautiful ceremony at Good Shepard Lutheran in Inver Grove Heights followed by a classy reception at the Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights. Pops of pink and ivory were gorgeously organized throughout the hall complete with the ornately hand decorated wine bottles. The yummy cupcakes, from Buttercream Cakes, waited for the guest to indulge while the children played with games off of the kid’s table. The touching speeches were given by the self-proclaimed crying Ortman men and the maid of honor. The sunset was absolutely stunning so we stole away into the evening for some shots of the couple dancing in the sunset.
Congratulations Syndal & Peter!! It was an amazing day and I appreciate you choosing me to capture it!
