Wedding Guest Adventures!

A couple of Saturdays ago I got to be a wedding guest.  It’s been a while since I’ve been to a wedding and not photographed it.  I must say, it was refreshing and fun just to enjoy the day from the sidelines.

The wedding was of my awesome cousin Steven & his bride Alison.  They pulled together a beautiful day in just 8 weeks after securing a venue that would allow them to prepare their own food.  Steven & Alison went to culinary school and have worked as chefs in some of the best places to eat in the MSP area.  It was their dream to prepare their own gormet food.

The wedding photographer in me couldn’t resist bringing my camera for just a few randoms here and there.  I only allowed myself to bring my 50mm though, as not to become “Aunt Mildred” who gets in the way with her fancy camera. 😉

My mother and her sisters get a little crazy when they get together.  That might have been a bit of an understatement. . .

This is their signature move 🙂undefined

Since many of my cousins were in attendance, we grabbed a quick photo of us with our grandparents. undefined

My beautiful cousin Michelle gave a little speech to congratulate her brother and welcome her new sister to the family.  Tears were a-flowin!!undefined

Congratulations Steve & Alison!!!  I wish you nothing but the best!!  PS – I had a BLAST at your wedding 🙂
